HAZEBAD KENNEL 

Our kennel has been breeding the Stabijhoun since 2001, when our very first litter was born. We breed on a small scale, and our dogs and puppies live and grow up as part of our family.

Through my involvement with dogs, I have built a wide network of friends. This makes the hobby both interesting and rewarding. Our kennel works closely with other Stabijhoun breeders, both in Finland and abroad. I consider this cooperation between breeders to be extremely important.

Our goal is to bring dogs into the world that have the potential to bring joy to their owners for as long as possible, living a high-quality life as dogs. We strive for dogs that are wonderful to live with and to work with, and that have a strong, functional structure. The well-being of our own dogs and our breeding dogs is never compromised.

Our first litter was born more than 20 years ago, on March 24, 2001. In addition to Stabijhouns, we also have Broholmers. Our first Broholmer litter was born on May 1, 2023. We live in the countryside in Maakeski, Padasjoki, where our dogs can run freely in a large fenced yard and occasionally take a swim in the pond.

The dogs in our kennel are family members, not kennel dogs. They spend a lot of time outdoors in the fenced backyard, and most of our walks are in the forest. They are never left outside if we are not at home. At night our dogs are always indoors, where they have firmly claimed the sofas as their own. Inside the house they can move about freely wherever they wish, and they can go outside whenever they want.
